What is beneficiation test

Beneficiation test is to carry out ore selection test for the design of concentrator. The results of beneficiation test not only have a direct impact on the rational determination of the process flow, equipment selection, product scheme, technical and economic indicators of beneficiation design, but also the basis of whether the beneficiation plant can successfully reach the design indicators and obtain economic benefits after putting into operation.

Why do beneficiation test

Suppose that a 1000tpd copper concentrator has an annual production of 300 days, the raw copper grade α=40%, the concentrate iron grade β=80%, and the concentrate price is 4000 yuan/ton. If the recovery rate is increased by 1% after the beneficiation test, the economic benefits increased by the enterprise are as follows: (1) Increase in fine mineral yield △γ=α (ε2-ε1) /β= 40%×1%/85% = 0.47% (2) Annual increase in income =1000tpd×300 days/year ×0.47%×4000 yuan/ton =5640000 yuan/year, that is, 5.64 million yuan/year. That is to say, the enterprise only needs to do a beneficiation test, even if the recovery rate is increased by 1%, it can earn more than 5.64 million yuan per year! Preliminary preparation
Sign a contract to determine which beneficiation process to use for testing.Then the customer provides 50kg ore sample and mails it to us.We crushed and dried the minerals, conducted chemical analysis of the ore samples, and made ore blending according to the analysis results to prepare for the subsequent experiments.
Study on properties of raw ore
The mineral is identified by Spectral analysis, Multielement analysis, Phase analysis, X-ray diffraction, etc. to determine the mineral composition, mineral formation sequence, structure, etc.analysis results to prepare for the subsequent experiments.
Test process
Our technicians determine the fineness of the mineral grinding and determine the best process by flotation, gravity separation, magnetic separation and other processes. Then through the condition experiment, open circuit experiment and closed circuit experiment, the concentrate and tailings are obtained and the settlement experiment is carried out for the reference of equipment selection.
